Profile
Mike (Michael) Guest is originally from Vancouver, Canada but has lived in Japan for 20 years, 12 of these the medical faculty of Miyazaki University where he is currently Junkyouju (Associate Professor). Guest writes a regular language teaching column (“Indirectly Speaking”) in the Daily Yomiuri newspaper and on the ELTnews website (“The Uni-Files”). He has made over 100 presentations all over Asia, in the Middle East, and in North America on various subjects related to EFL/ESL.
He is married with one 13-year old son and a baby daughter.
